Create Transit Gateway

Overview

In this section, you will create a Transit Gateway on AWS Cloud.

Create Transit Gateway

  1. Open VPC Management Console

  1. Select Transit Gateway in the left sidebar, and select Create Transit Gateway.

  1. On the Create Transit Gateway page, enter the following parameters:
  • Name tag: lab20-tgw
  • Description: Transit Gateway for lab20

  1. Configure the Transit Gateway: uncheck the Default route table association and Default route table propagation configurations**

  1. Check and select Create Transit Gateway.

  1. Create Transit Gateway successfully. It will take 1-2 minutes for Transit Gateway to become available.
